Who we are
Preventive Nutrition is founded on the belief that if we are working (most often) a minimum of eight hours per day, five or six days a week, then we should be fuelling ourselves in the best way possible to keep us healthy, and full of energy throughout the work week. A healthy diet and movement should be part of our everyday life without compromise.
Having worked in global head offices in Merchandising teams for 13 years now, I have seen the best and the worst of food on offer at head offices. From inspiring chef prepared meals served daily as a buffet, to home grown, organic delicacies and on the other end of the scale, a very limited selection of dry baguettes on the corner of a quiet trading estate. Sometimes the perfect job comes with less than perfect food options. I have come to appreciate that more support should be given in the workplace to better understand what nutritional needs we have, and how these can be fulfilled.
Preventive Nutrition exists so that colleagues can be given dedicated 1-2-1 time to understand their personalised, nutritional needs and feel more energised throughout the work day, by making small and realistic changes to diet and lifestyle.
